Senior Technology Assistance and Resources (STAR)
The STAR program is aimed at improving older adults' digital skills.
PROGRAM DETAILS
Trainees will receive a computer device and internet connection as part of the program, with the program aimed at older adults in low-income housing. A volunteer will help participants understand how to use their device, and develop their computer skills.

Davis STAR Class
Program Details: Seeking Yolo County residents aged 60+ for a beginner-level, 10-week technology course presented by Yolo Healthy Aging Alliance. Training topics covered include using email, searching the internet, video calls, and more. Participants will receive a free laptop and a gift card to assist with home internet payments.

Email safety (opening and replying emails, identifying spam).
Using a computer device for email, photos, and possibly more advanced activities (e.g. video phone calls, online shopping, or social media).
