Communicare Integrated Behavioral Health Services are delivered within each of our primary care clinics in Davis, West Sacramento and Woodland and are available to all CommuniCare patients. The Behavioral Health staff is part of the patient's health care team, working in collaboration with Primary Providers to support comprehensive mind and body wellness. The Integrated Behavioral Health Services provide short term brief, confidential individual counseling services for children and adults, as well as access to adult and child Psychiatry.

Translation: The family support group for Spanish-speakers meets virtually on Monday nights at 7, for 8 weeks. Register on our website or email friends@namiyolo.org. The support group is meant for loved ones of individuals with mental health conditions. The group is led by family members of people with mental health conditions. The sessions last 60-90 minutes and they are confidential.

NATIONAL SUICIDE PREVENTION LIFELINE

The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline is a national network of local crisis centers that provides free and confidential emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress 24/7.

Northern Valley Indian Health provides outpatient Mental Health services to community members that may be experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety, family or couples conflict or need support with substance abuse, parenting, behavior problems or school needs. The Behavioral Health team is made up of a group of dedicated, licensed or certified professionals that are passionate about serving their community.  Services may include individual, family or couples therapy as well as access to psychiatry. Additional services can include Anger and Stress Management, Trauma-Informed Care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychological Assessments, Sand Play Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Grief and Loss Support and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). All community members are welcome!

The Suicide Prevention and Crisis Services of Yolo County is now closed, but anyone can call 988 and will be routed to the nearest suicide prevention hotline. The hotline is open 24/7.

THE FRIENDSHIP LINE

The Friendship Line reaches out to older adults offering telephone counseling, support, reassurance, crisis intervention, elder abuse prevention, medication reminders, well-being checks, and information and referral.  The friendship Line provides support to at-risk seniors, family members and their advocates 24 hours a day, 365 a year. Any person aged 60 years or older, their family members or any others who may be concerned can call.

Yolo County Adult Mental Health Services provides a range of mental health services to community members of all ages, including adults, older adults, children, and youth.  Yolo County will help anyone in a crisis but will provide on-going services only for those with chronic and severe mental health symptoms who have no insurance or who qualify for Medi-Cal.

YOLO COUNTY SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER SERCIVES

Yolo County has a current substance use continuum of care consisting of residential treatment, intensive outpatient for some populations, outpatient, and some outpatient withdrawal management and medication assisted treatment (MAT) services, as well as, prevention and education services. here are some services available for our in-custody population as well, designed to help stabilize them while incarcerated and help to more successfully transition them out of custody.

This team provides triage, crisis intervention assessments, therapeutic counseling, and wrap-around case management support for individuals aged 60 and older who present with a serious mental illness. Also offers senior peer counseling and wellness centers in Woodland and West Sacramento.

Program addresses the specific needs of these older adults and provides supportive services throughout the County and at all stages of recovery.
