NUTRITION PROGRAMS

Meals on Wheels Yolo County provides nourishing hot, fresh meals and important social contact countywide to food insecure, often isolated aging adults age 60+, prioritizing those with limited mobility. Five meals are provided via one or more doorstep deliveries per week in  Woodland, West Sacramento, Davis, Winters, Esparto, Dunnigan, Knights Landing, and Clarksburg. Congregate dining also is offered once-a-week at the Woodland Senior Center. Most delivery routes are volunteer-driven and community engagement always is invited to ensure that the resources of time and treasure required to elevate nutritious, equitable, healthy outcomes for Yolo County seniors are available.
