Access Wireless serves the community by providing mobile phone service to income-eligible residents as part of the government-funded Lifeline Assistance program. Lifeline is intended to help individuals experiencing financial hardship stay connected to family members, schools and child care providers, as well as be reachable to potential employers and have a means of communicating in case of an emergency. Access Wireless provides qualifying customers with a free monthly allotment of minutes, text messages and data.

Agency on Aging- Area 4 funds and monitors older adult programs in seven counties in Northern California. Â The following contracted services are provided in Yolo County:Â Caregiver Support, Health Insurance Counseling, Information & Assistance, Job Readiness, Legal Services, Long Term Care Ombudsman Services/Elder Abuse Prevention, Nutrition, and Transportation. Del Oro Caregiver Resource Center (Del Oro) is a private non-profit agency funded through the California State Department of Health Care Services and Agency on Aging-Area 4. We are here to improve the well-being of family caregivers and provide support throughout the caregiving process.
